New CONNY Rules and Divisions

Beginning with the upcoming 2010 spring season, per CONNY rules, the new competitive divisions will be:

Boys Senior Teams: Born 1995 or 1996

Boys Junior Teams: Born 1997 or 1998

Boys Lightning Teams: Born 1999 or 2000

Boys Bantam Teams: Born 2001 or 2002


Girls Senior – 7^th or 8^th grade

These guidelines follow those set by US Lacrosse and are designed for the saftey of all players on the field.  The WYL Board of Directors and Coaches support this ruling and strongly encourage all players to register in their appropriate age bracket based on their bithdate.  Requests to play up to an older division must be made in writing to or  .  Requests will be reviewed by both the Executive Board and Coaches.  Decisions to move a player up will be based on  players skill level and space availabilty on the requested team.  Players cannot be moved down to a younger team.
